The Bol DOr Mirabaud is the most important inland lake regatta in the world. Taking place in Switzerland, a landlocked nation that sits on top of the sailing world with multiple successes whether in the Olympic, Offshore or in Grand Prix Racing formats, and champion of two Americas Cup victories. The race started in 1939 and it is a symbolic race that brings together the best of Switzerlands sailing tradition.Every year they welcome mono-hulls and multihulls on Lake Geneva, starting in the city of Geneva. More than 500 boats fight each other on this 123 kilometre (66.5 nautical miles) course from Geneva to Le Bouveret and back. Then we move to Montenegro for the 44 Cup that enters a new era under a new brand name but still has the top sailors competing in this high-performance event. After, we change scenery and dive in the crystal clear waters of Villasimius in the 2019 Melges 20 World League. These speedy boats offer unique moments at the 1st event of the European Division.We could not end this trip vefore watching the historical Dragon boats in action. This all-time classic started their tour from Cannes and it proves to be an amazing experience.

In this months episode we visit Villasimius, Italy, for the one and only GC32 racing tour. Staying in a foiling mood we will then move to Lake Garda for the 2019 Pascucci Formula Kite World Championship. This years event is extra special as it will be the first event since Kite Formula became an accepted sport for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.Next, we will visit majestic Palma for the breathtaking 2019 RS:X Europeans and Youth European Championships. To end this months show, we will visit Long Beach in California for the fourth Congressional Cup.

Welcome to the 15th edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre! Injecting a fresh change, sailors will be bound for Martinique as they explore for the first time the West Indies. The four participating classes have taken different routes: while the Class 40 sailed starboard in Cape Verde, the Imocas and Ocean Fifty's starboarded in Fernando de Noronha and the Ultimes in Trinidade and Martim Vaz. This edition has proven to be tougher than usual, and with several accidents taking place during the competition not all parting boats have made it to the Caribbean island.
