Laura Mvula: Live at South by Southwest... Given the Mardi Gras-like merry-go-round of BBQ, booze, bands, and general debauchery, the vibe at SXSW can understandably get a little overwhelming at times. When a performance provides such a opportunity, it's even better. We saw it when Icelandic composer Olafur Arnalds played Baeble's Launch Pad event and again when British songwriter Laura Mvula took the stage at Hype Hotel to provide a wondrous, musical pause. Cooling off a sweaty capacity crowd with a fresh breeze of jazz, soul, folk, and classical numbers from her stunning debut, Sing To The Moon, Mvula's performance was a memorable moment of musical refinement SXSW desperately needed, and now it's classing up the site with this long awaited release of one of our favourite performances.

Mixing tracks from his Take That era, old or new, his songs allow him to reclaim his throne from an artist who dominates the stage - in fact, there is no one in pop music who combines his monumental energy with music Touching. A magical moment can be perceived in A Better Man, only with the guitar on stage; Proof that he is an artist that goes beyond the scenery.
