Founded in 1969 thanks to the initiative of the yacht club Societa Velica di Barcola e Grignano, the Barcolana competition has won its worldwide renown.Barcolana, the international sailing regatta with the worlds highest number of participating sailboats, is now in its 51th edition, and continues to offer that unique combination of sailing competition and great entertainment.
